Round 6 of the AUTOBACS SUPER GT 2022 SERIES was completed on September 18th at Sportsland SUGO in Miyagi Prefecture.

On the day of the race, the Miyagi Prefectural Police held a parade lap and enlightened activities for traffic safety in the heat and humidity of a summer day.

And finally the 6th game was cut off and dropped.

From the weather in the morning, the sky started to collapse towards the afternoon, and at 13:00 it started to rain lightly.
Despite the rain, the track conditions turned wet, and the timing of the tire change became the key.

Among them, the GT300 class No. 11 car used slick tires until the very last minute to join the battle for the top spot and finish in 2nd place.

Car No. 10 was able to maintain its pace smoothly and took 3rd place. It was a great achievement that two GAINER cars won two podiums in the GT300 class.

Super GT has two remaining races, but this result will change the team ranking.
Chasing 7 points from the top, car No. 10 finished 2nd, while chasing 14 points, car No. 11 finished 3rd.

The next round, Autopolis, will be held on October 1st for qualifying and 2nd for the final.
